Providence Ferry continues to grow! At our Spring Priority Selection Event over 75 new families joined our community. This brings the Providence Ferry Family of owners to almost 220! We can't believe how much has changed in a year. The weekend was fun-filled as guests enjoyed music, delicious food, carriage rides and of course tours of the beautiful property both by land and water. At our evening events in Augusta we danced the night away at the Museum of History and celebrated all of our new neighbors. A good time was had by all!

The landscaping is well underway at Providence Ferry. This week we completed the planting of over 50 magnolias around our entrance. This is just the first stage of our expansive landscaping plan that will add beauty and warmth to welcome you and your visitors as you arrive at your lake escape.

New homes are already springing up at Providence Ferry! The foundation of the first home in our neighborhood is almost complete. This is just one of the several homes by Georgia Log Homes that is already underway, and we are excited to see construction begin. This Spring we will be releasing our last homesites at Providence Ferry, so keep checking back for more updates. You too can have your own waterfront home!

The community we envisioned is really coming to life. There's so much happening right now in our neighborhood! The paving of Murray Creek Road was finished yesterday which concludes all the paving in Phases A and B. Also, the final installation of the underground power was completed in Phase A this week.

We are working hard to get ready for our final property release of 2006, which will be held on Saturday December 9th. It will be an exciting day with great food, boat tours, and you can even get in the holiday spirit with a horse drawn carriage ride through our beautiful property. Providence Ferry is gearing up for our upcoming limited property release in November. It’s beginning to truly look like a neighborhood down here on Lake Thurmond. All roads in Phase A will be completely paved by the week of October 8th. Phase B’s roads have already received a stone base. The 12” main water line has been laid the entire length of Murray Creek, and within a week, our entire neighborhood will have water.

Next in line is a massive landscaping at our entrance. We’re also adding the finishing touches to the pavilion.
