Roy Jeffcoat
Roy Jeffcoat is the owner of Energy Conversion, Corp. based in Anderson, South Carolina. ECC was originally formed in the early 80’s when Jimmy Carter awarded Roy’s business a grant to research and develop gasohol as an alternative source of energy. He and his son, Kenny, have worked together for 26 years and have bought and sold numerous large tracts of land in the south, as well as in Western Kentucky, Indiana, and West Virginia. Many of their land acquisitions have involved timber management from the acquired property as well as mineral interest in the Mid West. In 1998 they were joined by Eddie Kinsey, Roy’s son in law.
Roy was on the forefront of waterfront development in the early 70’s and has vast experience in real estate. He was born in Swansea, S.C. and graduated from Clemson in Architecture and served his country as a Captain in the Air Force.
Kenny Jeffcoat
Graduated from Clemson University in 1979 with a degree in Administrative Management. After 15 years as a Homebuilder and General Contractor in South Carolina, Kenny Jeffcoat joined his father to help manage his real estate interest. Roy’s experience and Kenny’s construction expertise have combined to develop over 50,000 acres in mostly rural settings. Kenny was born in San Angelo, Texas.
Eddie Kinsey
After spending 11 years as a Commercial Sales Manager for J. F. Cleckley & Company in Orangeburg, S.C., Eddie joined the team bringing seasoned experience to the companies grading and road construction activities. Eddie is also involved in land acquisition and sales. His construction knowledge is an important contribution to quality control. Eddie graduated from The University of South Carolina with a degree in Management.
